As part of The Well Network supporting teacher wellbeing in the NT we are delighted to offer a day long workshop help you feel good in mind and body.

Julia Broome from the Gawler Foundation and the Wellbeing Centre at Melbourne’s historic Convent is a physiotherapist, Feldenkrais practitioner and accredited mindfulness teacher. She will conduct a one day workshop:

Awake, at ease and ready: a workshop using Feldenkrais and mindfulness exercises to support personal wellbeing.

“In this one day workshop I will be leading you through some gentle movement lessons based on the Feldenkrais Method. This is a unique process of somatic education engaging the intelligence of the nervous system and its capacity to learn. The primary tool in this process is attention that will bring new ways to cultivate mindfulness. It will be a day of kindness to yourself, gentle movements and playful attention.”

Free participation for teachers registered as research participants

An $80.00 fee for non-registered participants.
